I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over two decades of experience in a variety of therapeutic and clinical settings. Currently, I serve as a counselor at the Calais School, a private school that provides special education for students with special needs, including those with behavioral, emotional, and learning disabilities. Before this, I was Clinical Supervisor and Program Director at Immediate Care Psychiatric Center in Parsippany, NJ, where I played a dual role in outpatient services and intensive care programs, ensuring a continuum of care for those seeking mental health services. My career also includes a significant tenure as a School Counselor at New Beginnings, where I specialized in supporting special needs students, particularly those with autism. My comprehensive background is complemented by my commitment to utilizing and teaching a range of therapeutic modalities, including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, all aimed at improving the lives of the diverse populations I serve.
